TBT’ERS ARE PUTTING UP BIG NUMBERS ALL OVER THE GLOBE

The NBA season ended last week, but as we all know, basketball never sleeps. Even with the ongoing COVID-19 crisis, lots of leagues around the world are operating on a normal schedule. Let’s check in and see what some of TBT’s brightest stars are up to.

ISAIAH AUSTIN – TEAM HEARTFIRE

Isaiah Austin has been showing out for Panteras de Aguascalientes in Mexico’s top league. In the month of October, he’s already scored 20+ points in six games. Recently, against Abejas, he put up 29 points to go along with 5 boards. He currently averages 20 points and 5.6 rebounds per game.

JACOREY WILLIAMS – HERD THAT

In his first season for Aquila Basket Trento in Italy’s Serie A, Jacorey Williams is averaging 15.5 points and 7.3 rebounds per game. The 6’8 big had an outstanding performance earlier this year in Eurocup play, putting up a 19-point, 11-rebound double-double against Bursapor. So far, Williams has scored double digits in every game he’s played.

JULIAN MAVUNGA – FORT WAYNE CHAMPS

Julian Mavunga has been making a name for himself in Japan. He’s averaging 25.7 points, 8.7 rebounds, and 5.3 assists per game for Toyama Grouses in the country’s top league. Just earlier this month, Mavunga had a 46-point outing against Kyoto H. In his most recent game this week, he put up a cool 31 points against San-en NP. Simply dominant.
